I KNOW ALBUQUERQUE!

I should, I was a Police Officer with the Albuquerque Police Department for over 20 years. After retirement from the APD I traveled all over the USA as a Law Enforcement trainer providing expertise to Federal Agents, U.S. Marshals, State & Local Law Enforcement agencies and the U.S. Military. I was proud to have been a part of the effort to safeguard this country after 9/11. When my second child was born in mid 2005 I decided to stay home to focus on what was up to then a personal interest, real estate. As an investor, builder, buyer & seller I found out that there were many consumers out there who needed the services of a competent, experienced real estate professional.

With an intimate knowledge of the Albuquerque & East Mountain areas, neighborhoods, communities and most importantly its people I am able to provide my clients with a wealth of information when contemplating buying or selling a home or other property. I strive to bring the same levels of professionalism, honest & integrity to my business that served me well in my public service career.

Community Involvement

Although retired as a full time Law Enforcement Officer, William continues to volunteer his time with the Albuquerque Police Department maintaining his qualifications & commission as Certified Police Officer in the State of NM. William has been certified by the Federal Court as an expert in the use of force, Police Service Dogs & general Police Practice. William is a Federally Certified Firearms Instructor in small arms and advanced weapon systems and has worked under contract for State, Federal, Local governments as well as units of the United States Armed Forces.

 

Personal Interests

When not engaged in the real estate business, I enjoy spending time with my family, staying fit and skiing. We also spend time at the families second home in Ruidoso NM.

Personal Background

A East Mountain Resident  since 1994 William previously resided in Albuquerque and Rio Rancho. Born in Albuquerque William grew up in Southfield Michigan and went to school at Northern Michigan University from 1978-1982 when he returned to New Mexico where he had spent much of his time in his youth and was conected to the area by a large extended family.

William is married to Dr. Angela Kurth Pharm-D and has two daughters.
