Low E windows cleaning precautions

With new energy saving windows being encouraged by tax incentives, it is a good time to review some cleaning tips.

Do not use a razor blade on stubborn spots. There is a very thin coating of metal on the glass and the blade could scratch the finish. Also do not use ammonia based cleaners as this can leave a film. Also do not use Lime deposit dissolving cleaners for the same reasons.
