In this very tuff market we were able to sell our home, Thanks to Paul.
We knew it would be difficult. Our home was a large, 5 bedroom, 3 bath, and across the street from an elementary school. It was 18 yrs old. Paul was a very good listener and kept in contact with us during the time we had our home for sale (total 20 months). We knew the housing market was continuing to get worse. But, Paul kept us up to date with the market and he was always optimistic. We took his advise, reduced our price, he made new flyers and continued to pursue this almost impossible endeavor. He convinced us to keep our house on the market during the holidays. We continued to show our home and Paul arranged Realtors' open house. He was really motivated and that gave us a lot of hope. He would say "We're gonna sell this house". We were very hopeful but the market was still going downhill. During the slow times Paul would call just to say hello or wish us a good weekend. We recently relocated to Albuquerque after accepting jobs out of college. We met Paul on our first visit to the area in January of 2005. At the time, we were interviewing for positions and had never been to the area nor did we know anyone from the area. Seeing that we were new to the area, Paul took an extensive amount of time to show us around. He wasn't concerned with just showing us real estate, instead he just introduced us to the area and made us feel comfortable. After accepting positions we returned again in March and again, Paul was there to help us start our transition. We were completely unsure of where to live and had no idea what we could afford. Thus, Paul showed us everything from condos to resale homes to new construction homes. Throughout the process, Paul seemed to make mental notes of our likes and dislikes, because we always liked the places he would take us too. In april (our 3rd visit to the area), we fell in love with a new construction home in Rio Rancho. We loved the floorplan, but we were unsure if we ready to purchase a home. Prices of new construction homes were continually rising, so we needed to make a decision. Paul didn't push us one way or another and we had built up a huge amount of trust in him. We decided to purchase the home and we moved in in September. We absolutely love the house and it is the best decision we have ever made!!!! We truly feel that Paul is one of the main reasons that are move to Albuquerque has gone so smoothly. He is always there to answer any questions, whether they are real estate related or not.
