June 5th: Lincoln Fandango Celebrates Billy the Kid Trail Ride: Lincoln, NM.  When the riders of the Billy the Kid Trail Ride get to Lincoln, they will join residents and their visitors in the fun of an old fasion Fandago at thte Lincoln State Monument Vistors's Center, beginining at 5p.m. Green chile stew, frijoles, torillas and homemade cobbler with ice cream are on the menu.  Story tellers and musicians will provide the entertainment. June 12 Cowboys Days-Carrzozo NM- 1/2 mile south of Carrzozo on Hwy 54.  A celebration of cowboy life &;lifestyle on the range. Parade, chuck wagon dinner, demonstrations, cowboy poetry, music vendors and more.

July 3rd -4th Santa Fe Wine Festival at El Rancho De Golondrinas: 12 noon -6pm. New Mexico the first wine making state. Discover the delicious blends of today vinitners at Santa Fe Wine Festival.  More than a dozen new Mexico wineries will be present so you can tast all that you want and buy your favorites direct for the maker.  All in festive autosphere with live music, food and traditional agicultural products & handmade art and crafts for sale. August An evening at Fort Union-Experience Fort Union's past on an evening walk through the ghostly ruins.  Scenes of the past times at the fort will be re-created.  Reservations are required, call (505) 425-8025 for specific dates and times.

August 6-8 Old Lincoln Days- Lincoln NM- Street vendors, food, parade & mountain man camp, activities throughout the day.   Friday & Saturday at 8:30pm and Sunday 3:30 pm, Lat Escape of Billy The Kid folk pageant.

August 14 -15 One-One-with some of th most famous and infamous characters in New Mexico history.  Play an hand of Monte with Dona Tules, vist with Kit Carson and talk about life on the frontier, take a picture with Billy the Kid, meet Pat Garrett, Old Bill WIlliams, Lew Wallace, Rafael Chacon, Bullfalo Soldiers and more.  El Rancho Las Golondinas.  A living musuem near Santa Fe New Mexico dating back to the 1600s.  Events will take place between 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.
