This is Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta week, a time when the city and New Mexico gets to shine in the spotlight.  Visitors from other states and countries get a glimpse, not only of the fabulous Balloon Fiesta events, but of the natural beauty and culture that makes this the Land of Enchantment.  So if your visiting and get the chance, check out Abq Old Town for great dining and local shopping. Visit some of our wonderful art galleries.  Take a ride on the Sandia Tram, the longest in the world.  Hike a trail in the Sandias or take a leisurely stroll along the Rio Grande Bosque to get a taste of the great outdoors.  Most of all, enjoy your trip and come back soon!
