The end is near for the economic recession in Albuquerque, according to report by New York City-based Moody's Economy.com released last week.
"The Albuquerque economy will be among the first metro areas to climb out of recession later this year, despite having fallen into recession later than the nation as a whole," says the report by Moody's Alexander Miron.

Metro home prices have appreciated 34% over the past five years, reports the Federal Housing Finance Agency (www.fhfa.gov). Only about 25 metro areas show greater long term price appreciation than Albuquerque. The figures are from FHFA’s all transactions average home price index.
