“Dream Home” Contest

The HGTV network is giving away a new home in the Albuquerque area. The HGTV Dream Home 2010 is a 3,900-square-foot showpiece in the San Pedro Overlook at Campbell Ranch community on the east side of the Sandia Mountains.

Each year HGTV designs and builds a “dream home” reflecting regional architecture and life style. Then HGTV gives the home away via a contest conducted on the network.

The website offers detailed reports about the home, the design and construction, guides to Santa Fe and Albuquerque and even an explanation of the Pueblo Revival Design used in the home. Home and Garden Television (and HGTV.com) is about decorating, home improvement, landscaping and kitchen and bath design.
